    We get it… she has a photographic memory. Stating it 17 times per chapter, every chapter, is obnoxious. Author is trying too hard to be poetic and descriptive in their writing and totally loses the plot line and build up. Very amateur and extremely hard to stay engaged. I’ve never given up on a book halfway thru but I’m done.

    Honestly, I didn’t even make it through chapter 1. The writing style is just not for me. I read the prologue and hoped it would change. I kept thinking, why describe everything in verbiage people don’t even use. I just couldn’t get past it.
