    This book starts off crazy especially in the first chapter, but l never met to characters that were really true to each other and didn't mind being showing emotions to each other. I thought I was going to read about Romeo and Juliet but this was like a different story more of story where the price looks for true love type book. But it was a Fantastic book that this author made✨♛

    I haven’t finished a book in over 10 years and after randomly picking this one off the free list and finishing it in 2 weeks happily I’m now adding all of Kendall Ryan’s books to my list. I can’t believe it I never thought I could be a reader but maybe this is the start of something new! Loved the character develop,ent and the mix of normal plot with spicy scenes. Switching perspectives every chapter was what kept my interest, and made it easier to follow.

    At the beginning I was enjoying it until I kept being told they had sexual tension when there was nothing between them. Spicy scenes were okay. Wolfie’s reaction to his best friend dating his little sister was .. unexpected. I really wanted a scene where Hayes tried one of his products with Maren. That would have been an interesting spicy scene to read.

    Kendall delivers as usual. Not your typical Best friend’s little sister/brother’s best friend taboo story. Throw in a nosy grandma, sex toy shop and you have a great story filled with a HEA, no cliffhanger and a lot quirkiness and cute laughs. Definitely enjoyed it!

  • Not what I was expecting

    Spoiler alert: No boyfriends, nor the effects of them until the very very end. I wish the summary described the story better but it’s misleading! I thought it would be about Maren teaching Hayes how to keep a girlfriend but its actually about Hayes helping Maren save a retirement home from going out of business and the two grow closer from there. Nothing horribly wrong with the actual content of the book though. It’s corny but that’s what I signed up for.
