Definitely meant to be

Noah Wylder & Lily Montgomery are possibly the greatest “meant to be” story of their world.
Three years ago, a New Year’s Eve kiss sparked a hidden desire that lingered and smoldered. While Lily traveled around in search of reaching her dreams as a dancer, Noah stayed at her families financial firm shouldering the animosity of her father.
When Lily gets injured in a football cheerleading tryout in Miami, she’s staring straight into the face of a possible surgery. She decides that her best choice is to go home & seek an alternate opinion. But upon arriving home, she discovers that her entire family, except her grandfather, are scheduled to be away on a trip for a month. What is a girl to do essentially all alone?
Noah finds himself with some additional responsibilities at work as he helps to cover the major accounts the other Montgomery men typically handle. He’s got his sights on proving that he’s a valuable asset to the firm, & nothing can get in his way. His workaholic tendencies are all fine and good, at least until he quite literally runs in to a certain tiny dancer outside his office building. And when she pulls him along to aid her in a minor spy session, he finds himself in a precarious situation both with her & his job.
What has Lily all riled up needing Noah’s assistance? What happens when Noah & Lily realize the depth of their attraction even after these 3 years? And what happens when her family comes home?
I can’t wait for more in this series. Noah’s brothers are going to be something to behold.
Audiobook Review:
Amy McFadden did an astounding job with this narration. Her voice changes & inflections left no question on which character was talking. Her ability to so effortlessly switched from Lily to Noah was perfect.

Such a great love story. I’ve been waiting for Lily and Noah. Their story didn’t disappoint. I did think Lily was immature but I’m glad people called her on that so it became a nonissue. I teared up at the end with Simon’s speech.

This is a great story of two people that are such opposites you would never think of it working out for them. Lily is a professional dancer. It’s the only
thing she’s ever wanted, even when an injury threatens to ruin it all for her she doesn’t give up. Noah is a numbers guy who has his future all planned out moving up the corporate ladder and nothings going to get in his way. How these two finally connect is what makes this a beautiful love story.
Great love story

Irresistible Love is the 1st book in the new series Wylder Love. If we remember we get an introduction to Lilly and Noah in A Merry Montgomery Christmas, three years prior to where they share a kiss. You don’t have to read that one to jump into their love story but it was a great read.
I loved diving back into the Montgomery world with Lily. She’s a free spirit, dancer. Trying to chase the dream until reality sets in and an injury has her facing one of the biggest hurdles in her life. She’s lost and trying to find her identity. Noah was a numbers guy, this nerdy, lovable cinnamon roll Is completely opposite than Lily. We watch them try to navigate their way through a possible relationship, love and heartache. They had a lot of growing pains but the banter, push, pull and chemistry was sweet to read. Oh boy, William Montgomery always trying to protect his family all the way to the end. The magical matchmaker is a better name for him. Amy McFadden was the narrator on the story. She did a good job with the different characterizations. Kept me engaged in the story.
Great read and listen

𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 is the first book in the new Wylder Love series by Samantha Chase, featuring an entertaining second chance love story for Lily and Noah. Lily’s world is rocked when a devastating injury puts her dancing career on life support. Unable to decide what to do next, she heads for the comfort of home and family. What she finds though, are surprises and secrets on the Montgomery front, and Noah, the one man she hasn’t been able to get out of her mind since their impromptu New Year’s kiss three years ago. Noah’s priority might be his career, but when Lily needs his help figuring out what is going on in her family, he can’t resist his desire to be with her. Will they finally admit that the connection they have is an irresistible love, and not a passing fling?
I’ve been excited to read this since I read the holiday novella that covered Lily and Noah’s previous kiss! I loved Noah in this, and could really relate to him on his insecurities, although he was a bit too much of a workaholic. Lily, though, was a tough sell for me. I wanted to love her, I mean, she’s a Montgomery and they’re fantastic, but she comes off as selfish and egotistical. I mean, if 4 medical specialists are telling you that you need a treatment, you should listen to them!🤦🏼♀️ Some of Lily and even William’s decisions shocked me. I much prefer people be honest with each other.🤷🏼♀️ The two of them did grow on me eventually.😉😍 Overall, there were plenty of compelling characters, witty banter, emotional moments, and sweet romance. I’m looking forward to seeing what the other Wylder bring!
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Amy McFadden, and she did a great job bring both the male and female personalities to life, especially during the witty and emotional parts.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Perfect Second Generation

I am always a little leery of second generation books, because it’s a fine line between having parents be tough, and it being too much (and I end up hating characters I once loved). This one was great, though. Lucas was…Lucas lol. The star of this book is Noah, though. Lily is great, even when I wanted to shake some sense into her, but Noah…he’s as close to perfect without being too perfect as you can get! Highly recommend!
Emotional start to a new series

Four and a half stars
IRRESISTIBLE LOVE is the first in Samantha Chase’s Wylder Brothers series, and also ties into her beloved Montgomery family.
Noah Wylder is the quiet numbers guy, the steady boring one. Lily Montgomery is a dancer, and the life of the party. Their unexpected New Year’s kiss threw them both for a loop, and also, was pretty much unforgettable…
Samantha Chase kicks off this new series with a bang, and Noah and Lily’s story is an emotional page-turner. Fans of the Montgomerys will get a chance to see some of them in action, though Lily and Noah’s story stands well alone. Loved seeing Noah’s brothers on the page, as well as Lily’s family. Can’t wait for more in this series!

I thoroughly enjoyed the push and pull between Noah and Lily, the feels were all there, loved Grandpa William and the Montgomery family and how they all come together in times of need…but…I have to be honest, I just could not connect with Lily and her brattiness. Hopefully we will see a difference in her in future books in the series.
