Description

Fred’s children, Lucy and George, embark on a journey to repair damage done by their father. Their explorations take them to the wilds of Africa, where difficult trials, wild adventure, and romance awaits. Though one of Maugham’s earlier novels, this tale is filled with his finely-crafted prose and wonderful dialogue.
