Description

“This is one of 13 romance novels that should be on every woman's bucket list."--Bustle.com

I had the craziest idea when I decided to auction my virginity online. I have reasons for it. Good reasons. My mom’s hospital bills, for one. My medical school tuition, for another. By day, I’m a student and popular gaming blogger, but my dream is to become a doctor. This auction could free me from a crushing pile of debt and give me the cash I need to make my dreams a reality.

And honestly, I’m also looking forward to cashing in that troublesome V-card. Win, win.

My rules are set in stone: One night, then no further contact with the auction winner.

Enter Adam Drake, the brilliant gaming company CEO and multimillionaire. He won my auction. He’s young, driven, and so damn sexy. It’s frightening how attracted I am - though I’d never admit it. And it’s clear I’ll need to protect my heart.

But Adam is used to making the rules and before I can catch it, he's found a loophole. Every stipulation I made to protect myself is getting tossed by the wayside.

I can’t help but wonder… Is he playing me? Or is he playing for keeps?

This book keeps me holding on down to the last word. Some people may think it is very slow, I think of it as tempting. The book starts as Emelia’s way to loose her virginity. She wanted a ‘no strings attached, one night stand’. She had not been attracted to anyone since her abusive high school ex. She has so much trama from one night with him, and this affects her and Adam’s night. Not to spoil the book, Adam and Emelia had a ‘breakup’ and went their separate ways. The end of the book was different from what I expected. The last page went fast for me. But the book definitely held your attention and is worth the read.

Enjoyable read. I didn’t see why it had been continued. Pretty much all the rest romance novels. Good characters. It improved towards the end.

Every time you think you know the direction, another twist happens. Enjoyed the storyline very much. Can stop here as a stand-alone or get the next two books.

This is the second of a multiple-book series about one couple. I loved the first one, and liked this one almost as much. The author is talented, and I like her characters. I will stop here, without continuing to read the other books. The story of this couple is longer than I am willing to hang with...

I realized why this was so familiar. I read it and then got rid of it after realizing I would have to purchase so many books to get the full story. I’m going to get rid of this again. I prefer standalone books.

Wasn’t as good as I thought it be. Through the whole book Emilia is trying to break it off with Adam. Then there is the clique with the rich man and poor girl. At the end of the book you get the feeling their relationship is just getting ready to get started. I wouldn’t call it a huge cliffhanger but you get the feeling it’s a cliffhanger none the less.
  • A boring waste

Maybe it would’ve appealed more to me if I were a gamer but this seems like a long drawn out waste of words disguised as a book.
