    I decided to try a new author and I wasn't disappointed. Although I could've done without the lovey dovey storyline trying to emerge, the action in this book's plot kept the pages flying.

    Some misspellings of Jake’s name at the beginning. Mercer was more like a cyborg in some of the sequences.Usually like Mar’s novels but I think I’ll have to pass on this series.

    Jack Mars is such a good writer. He pulls you in and doesn’t let go until the end. I highly recommend his Jake Mercer political thriller.

    Great new series! It’s fun to see inside the workings of the White House. Great descriptions of the challenges the Secret Service face, especially with the need for face to face fighting inside the Mansion.

    As a Jack Mars fan, this new series is exciting. The author stays up to date in details and current events, you feel as though you are actually experiencing the event in real time. The attention to detail and the challenges faced keeps you enraptured until the very end. Jack Mars has a way that makes the reader wait with anticipation for the next book in the series. Highly recommend.

    This first offering in a new series by Jack Mars has continual action and suspense!! Very intriguing!! I could not put this book down. I started reading in the morning and finished by afternoon. Jake Mercer is a Secret Service agent in charge of the POTUS protection detail. The interplay between Jake and his partner, Jess Foster, is fun to read. All in all another blockbuster from Jack Mars!! Bring on book #2!!
