Description

She’s never forgotten the way the sun lit up Copper Mountain…
Seeking a new beginning after the death of her parents, Annie Miller impulsively moves to Marietta and sets up a bed-and-breakfast in picturesque Bramble Lane. With her brother and sister by her side, it's a place to heal and forget the fiancé who left her just weeks before their wedding day. Now all she really needs are some customers...
Marketing whiz Craig O’Sullivan is wedded to his work in Portland, but with the cousin he sees as a brother getting married soon, he heads to Marietta for a two-week vacation. As long as his beloved Aunt Janice doesn't decide to play matchmaker on his behalf he'll be fine. But when Janice sets him up to help sweet Annie Miller market her B&B, he doesn't mind at all. There's something about Annie that makes him want to sell her on the idea of happily ever after. With him.
Craig's life is in Portland, Annie is bound to Marietta. Can they trust themselves and each other enough to open their hearts and let love in?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This is written in a multiple POV format. Getting both main characters really help me to better understand and connect to them. It makes for a more enjoyable read for me. Annie owns a B & B in Marietta. Owning a B & B has been a dream for her. She and her siblings moved to Montana after losing both of their parents. They needed a change of scenery. Unfortunately for Annie, even though she spent a lot of money to update the B & B, she doesn’t get a lot (if any guests!) Well besides her brother and sister. Her brother is building a house and her sister plans on moving out after her wedding in mere days. Craig lives and works in Portland, OR. His aunt has requested he come early before the wedding. His cousin is marrying Annie’s sister. After the last account that his marketing firm acquired, he is glad to get away. His aunt asks Craig to help Annie in marketing her B & B. Even though Annie is reluctant to ask for his help, she eventually gives in. The sparks between these two are sparking all over the page! Neither want to get married, they live in different states and the rumors are flying all over the small town of Marietta!!! Can these two overcome all of the hurdles that the author put before them? Well you will have to read for yourself. This is a delightfully funny tale. I really had to stop laughing at everything that Annie would say and do! She is the best female protagonist! It is on the sexy side so just a word of caution on that. The author does a great job in eluding most of the details so I the reader could use my imagination.
