    I hadn’t read any of the books in this series but I may have to now. I loved Maykl! He made choices in order to survive and I totally get that. Kira, I wasn’t so sure about to start but I started to like her at the end. She was hellbent on saving her nephew, who really didn’t need saving.

    But then again, all of the Chicago Bratva books were fantastic. The witty dialogue brings the likable characters to life. This book feature Maykl, the gatekeeper at the Kremlin and Kira who’s come to Chicago to claim her sister body and to find her missing nephew. Serendipity brings Maykl and Kira together but their secrets and lies may tear them apart… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
