Gripping! Suspense filled, action packed, with a little romance thrown in. I love how CB Samet writes! She draws you in to fall in love with the characters and their stories. You get to see a little romance through their journey, but you also get to see the amazing Rider SI team go through a case feeling like you are right there with them! I absolutely could not put this book down! I guarantee that once you start reading this series, you will want to read ALL of The Rider SI books! The hardest part is waiting for the next book in the series!!!

Not your typical rock star, not your average bodyguard One of my favorite things about this book is the main characters are adults. Billy is 35, she was a marine then went to work for fellow soldier Maxine Rider. Ethan Storm is about to turn 40, he’s sown his wild oats, but he still writes good music. They’re settled in their lives, until hey meet each other. The instant attraction is just the beginning of the changes they will go through. Billy and Ethan grabbed my heart, just like this story did right at the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Hang on for a fast paced sensual adventure with this suspenseful tale. A 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance romance wrapped in an action thriller Jessica and Reese have gotten together and broken up so many times their friends can’t keep up. But when her life is threatened Reese is there, and Jessica proves she can hold her own too. Getting to know these characters was half of the fun of reading this book. I love their quirks, Jessica is a glitz and glamor fashionista and Reese is a protective alpha with lovely elocution that kept me grinning. The interspersed glimpses of their past makes the story so much fuller. And while this tale moves at break neck speed keeping you on the edge of your seat, the mixture of romance and suspense is perfect.
