I loved this book. The Christmas Land Park is a real treat, hopefully it’s real. Though doubtful I will ever get a chance to visit as I am a Yank. But the book like so many have made an imprint in my mind. Thanks to the author for making this a real treat!

I grew up close to a little town called Santa Claus, Indiana USA. There was a themed part with rides, restaurants, exhibits of a train circling an area of land depicting Santa’s travel and a real Santa that we talked to, sat on his lap, had our picture taken and got a small candy cane. It was all so magical. This book brought back so many memories. Although, now the small park is called Holiday World, it still has some of the same buildings and many of the original statues. Thanks for the memories.

The story starts out slowly but gathers speed as it progresses. Enjoyed the characters . The story line is a bit predictable, but that fits the story!

This was a fun book to read for the month of December. I did think the writing in the beginning was a little confusing with understanding who the characters were and the dialogue back and forth. But I enjoyed it most when I got half way through and things were progressing. Interesting ending though. It felt cut short in a way but also not bad.

This was such a heartwarming story about second chances and being never too old to take risks. The story takes place in a run down Christmas themed amusement park-a parallel to Bonnie’s life. One finds though, with a little love, some good friends, and Christmas magic, that miracles can happen. This book was a thoroughly feel good read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
