Best parenting book I’ve read so far. I’ve been trying out some of the techniques described in this book on a two-year-old and the results have been amazing (both on the toddler and my own inner peace). Really a must-read!

This is easily the best parenting book I have ever read

This book was so compelling. Well thought out, written with kindness and a sense of grace which sometimes lacks in parenting “manuals.” And unlike other books on the topic, I couldn’t put it down- is this a novel, a travel adventure about a toddler and her mom; well, it’s all that and more. Any questions were answered with memorable stories to hold onto the concepts. I also appreciated Doucleff’s voice as a reporter, which felt more balanced than some titles written by professors who can seem committed to their ideas being correct. I highly recommend this to parents and anyone interested in working with and leading people of all ages to contribute with ease and joy.
