I’ve been a fan of cyberpunk literature since high school. A fan of transhumanist lit since college. This series was amazing, and awesome, and had the right cynical tone combined with the inability to stop caring that any good cyberpunk has. It’s a great series, and I absolutely loved it.

The only issues I have with the Murderbot series are brevity and quantity. Too much of the former not enough of the latter. SecUnit is a fantastic character who I’m so thrilled to read every time. Chapeau Martha Wells, chapeau!!

Well- Ms. Wells has done it again with a wrap up of sorts for our “Hero ANDROID”! A thrilling closure from Book 1 and another Super Fun Story- exciting and unpredictable how our Fav- Murderbot shows this evolving conscience to what’s right despite the personal consequences. Just GET all (4)/books you’ll not be disappointed. Now I feel compelled to read Martha’s full length book- I can’t stop now. So yes another (5) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cincy Kid 68 (JB)👏👏👏👏👏🤩
  • A Fine Conclusion to Murderbot’s Story

To begin none of the subsequent novellas have the same impact All Systems Red did. This one does do a fine job tying up the loose ends, reflects on the characters and people murderbot met and brings him back home. The story is a good page turner and I enjoyed the time I spent reading it. However, I’ve said it two times and I’ll say it again, these are four novellas published over the course of the same year. It should have been published as a collection. It still does not detract from the quality and I still enjoyed them.
