His son, prince Telemachus, wants to throw those men out of the kingdom, but he is inexperienced in fights. One of those men, Antinous, plans to kill the prince.
But, the truth is that Odysseus is still alive. Being madly in love with him, the beautiful nymph Calypso has imprisoned him on her island. Odyssey wants to return home, to his wife and his son, but he doesn’t know how to escape from the island, and he has no ship and no crew.
In the meantime, the Gods and Goddesses of Mount Olympus discuss the future of Odyssey. The Goddess Athena decides to help Telemachus, so she disguises as old men, a friend of his grandfather, and convinces him to call a meeting at which he reproaches the men fighting for his father’s throne and the love of his mother. She also prepares him for a journey to Pylos and Sparta, where the kings Nestor and Menelaus will tell Telemachus the truth about his father.
