Tealgaze endured a long and painful kitting, but somehow she was alive at the end. But she was lucky. She had born three tom-kits, but two were stillborn, a little brown tabby kit and a blue-grey one, and the third was an unmoving black one with very faint stripes. Tealgaze looked upon her dead kits numbly. Even after all her misgivings, even though she didn’t want them in the first place, she mourned the lives of the kits she would never know. “ You shall be named Gorsekit, after your father who you look so much like,” She whispered wretchedly, licking the brown tabby tom gently. She moved to the blue one. “ And you will be Skykit, little one.” Tealgaze turned her attention to the living kit, hoping that he’d survive. “ Your name will be…” She struggled for a name. “ Nightkit, in honor of your pitch black fur.” Tealgaze stood up and began to dig a hole for Gorsekit and Skykit, and once they were buried and she pleaded to StarClan to care for her lost kits. Then she scooped up Nightkit, who still hadn’t moved, and took him to her nest. Tealgaze spent the next few days nursing Nightkit silently, and was delighted when he was showing signs of being better. When he opened his eyes, Tealgaze was surprised at the brilliance of his blue eyes. But something was strange about them, and about Nightkit in general… But Tealgaze shrugged it off and a few days later, she picked up her only living son and left the hollow behind. She spent a while carrying him from place to place in between feeding and sleeping times, and once he could walk Tealgaze let Nightkit plod along next to her. But one day, when Nightkit was a moon old, Tealgaze came across the first cat since she had arrived at the hollow. It was a pretty she-cat, with tan and gray dapples over snowy white fur and mismatched gray and green eyes. Tealgaze gasped and dove into the bushes, dragging her son with her. Too late! The she-cat turned her head and scanned the overgrowth. “ Hello?” She called, as Tealgaze shrank deeper into the bushes, tucking Nightkit under her. “ I saw you! Come out, I can help you.” Tealgaze stayed still. “ I promise. I mean no harm to you or your kit — my name’s Creeping Fern of Shadow, and I’m a tribe cat.” FYI Nightkit is blind :0 I hope you liked the lil fanfic I did! Gray wing should definitely have his own super edition for when he started starclan and he should really come back in the future of the clans

This was by far the best warriors series I’ve ever read, it was great the plot the idea everything but there was one problem......why did u kill off random cats ex. Turtle Tail, Gray Wing, Storm. I loved the book until the ending the end was 💩

OMG I CRIED AT THE END WHEN I FOUND OUT GRAY WING DIED. This is my FAVORITE Warrior cat book by far! Team Graystripe and Gray Wing!!!
