Even though it stars a malthrope, an incredible type of hero, the story is excellent, well told, and quite exciting. I will be looking for more.

Having readthe first two books of the trilogy , I was not isappointed with the prequel. The only bits that dragged somewhat were some of the Potteresque moments of banter shared with Shadow's peers in Entwell. Certainly not a spoiler by any means but only some mild constructive criticism for a superb author whose only equal to date is Patrick Rothfuss.
Stand alone wonderful novel

Honesty - even better then the rest of the series. It's the book the author should have written instead of the trilogy. Clearly he shows the most affinity for the red shadow and the story line is much neater. A great read.

I read your for books so far.
Enjoyed them a lot and can't wait for more of the trilogy.
What an imagination you have.
Your presentation is such that you make us believe that such people and places really exist and that you have been there.
I'll definitely will by more books from you.
Thanks for taking me to your place.
