The French writer Gustave Flaubert (1821–1880), was one of the greatest novelists in Western literature. Flaubert believed in the principle of finding "the right word", which he considered as the key mean to achieve quality in literary art. He said that he spends his time "trying to write harmonious sentences, avoiding assonances."
