Through Peterson’s chapters on Adam & Eve, the author never mentioned Eve’s sin of adding to what God told Adam before God created Eve. “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it . . .” Eve says to the “talking snake” in response to the serpent’s beguiling words, “Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it.” Adding to God’s Word is the Original Sin. Eating the fruit caused The Fall. This book is an excellent read for both Clergy and biblical psychologists. Biblical theology is lacking somewhat.
