NEED is book #7 in a new series by #1 bestselling author Morgan Rice, a USA Today bestseller and critically acclaimed author of the fantasy series The Sorcerer’s Ring (over 3,000 five star reviews) and the vampire fantasy series The Vampire Journals (over 1,500 five star reviews).

Mistfalls Wilderness Camp is an awful place, a series of islands in the rainy Northwest, populated by delinquents and outcasts from their families. It is supposed to be a remedial place—but Taylor soon learns something else is happening here. They are training the kids here for something. But what?

These kids are all different, not normal somehow. And as Taylor herself goes through changes she doesn’t understand, she can’t help but wonder: is she different, too?

But when she finds herself having a crush on a mysterious boy, Taylor realizes he is not what he seems—and that her own destiny may be far greater than she imagined.

But will their forbidden love take them both down for good?

Weaving a world of fantasy, love, destiny and sacrifice, WISH is a page-turning vampire saga, one that will whisk you away to another place and make you fall in love with a bold new heroine as you turn pages late into the night. With shocking twists and turns at every corner, you will not put it down. Fans of books such as Crush, Twilight and Vampire Academy are sure to fall in love!

Future books in the series will soon be available.

Good story. Needs to be edited correctly. This book did a little better then the last one not repeating itself.

I love this story and the characters but it’s a slag to read with all the missed and jumbled words. I like to read for pleasure not because it’s my job…This feels like an 80 hour work week.
  • Good, but…

I love the series. Good YA supernatural. I’m not sure if it is translation from hard book to e-read, but there are several gramatic errors and just writing errors in general. You can figure out what the writer is conveying in those sentences, just annoying. And I have a question. In one of the earlier books it stated Jesse is a vampire but during crave and possibly the one before, it states he is a wolf but now in Need, he is back to vampire. So which is it? Because I feel like that is important to the love story between Jesse and Taylor, as well as the abilities of Jesse and what he can contribute.
  • Great story line, not so great editing

I really enjoy this book series and have torn through them quickly. My only complaints come from an editing stand point. Characters are being a little hard to follow due to editorial errors such as, is Jesse a vampire or a werewolf because ive run into him being both within the story. Example: Pg.30- Jesse’s point of view, “ When i found out she was not a vampire like me, but the terrifying Blood Moon Hybrid….” and then reading on Pg. 68- Director Brown speaking, “ As a werewolf, its extremely important to control your shift and your animal.” The later making more since due to the countless other mentionings of Jesse jumping in to save the moment in his wolf form. Another example is pg. 78- Isabels perspective, “ Isabel once told me Taylor started sleeping like that……..”, Isabel told herself? Fantastic story line and I am a big fan of Morgan Rice in general. I have just ran into this a lot more often in this series and thought it might be good to bring to light. Thank you and Kindly
