    This whole story takes place in the UK, yet the author and/or editors found it necessary to us American standards of measurements when talking about distance and speed, etc… this alone ruined the book.

    I have been reading horror genre novels since my early teens. I am 56 now and had honestly never read any of your novels. I was totally blown away by The Infected!
