Loved this love story! Such a great read. I love that it wasn't about the old couples and that it focused on Daphne and Miles

I expected something a little more lovey-dovey. It was fun to read & I thought clever dialog! I really enjoyed it.

I liked the approach the book took to kind of handle the whole premise and trying to steer away from the whole “rebound relationship” trope. I DO HAVE TO SAY (minor spoilers ahead) ———- I did not agree with Daphne forgiving Sadie ABSOLUTELY bonkers move. Sadie literally chose her partner over her best friend that’s been cheated on and left to the dust RIGHT BEFORE DAPHNE’S WEDDING??? And what does that say about Sadie’s partner being basically family with this cheater?? Very poor choice to act as a saint and forgive her. Overall it was fine, a bit predictable, but that’s generally what people go for when reading these kinds of books.

The story really makes you feel like you were supported to Waning Bay. You’re there in the little town with the characters and their problems. They all feel so close to you. Emily Henry, you did it once again! I love you!
