1By NiagaraMichaelDull and labored. Lacks a readable rhythm. I couldn’t get into it, and I kept putting the book aside. I did keep trying to read it, but I eventually gave up. The story lacks energy. Three equal lead characters is too many. As a mystery, it was bland. Where do I get back my money? And, I see that now the Patterson Book Factory is already cranking out a sequel. Too many novels quickly dashed off isn’t a positive thing.A bit over the top
