This book was one I didn’t want to put down once I started it. I really liked the relationship between James and Molly - how he realized his mistake in not being in her life and trying to include and educate her while keeping her safe and her power to forgive. The friendships they form with the people they interact with while trying to solve what happened to Linda are lifelong. It’s beautiful to see such relationships grow and evolve. As far as the mystery of the investigation goes there are several facets to it. Each must be figured out to truly determine what’s happening and what’s happened. Though I had my suspicions from the start the author kept me on my toes before truly coming to the outcome of the investigation. With so much happening in the story there was never a dull moment. I was lucky enough to receive an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
