I just finished reading the first book in Ada Bell’s Haunted Haven series ‘Unfinished Witchness’. The series starts off with Emma arriving at the huge house she had recently inherited along with a large fortune from a grandfather she never knew. She also had newly discovered he had magical powers that she had also inherited. Now she is preparing to turn the house into a B&B and learning how to use her newly acquired magic. That is all I am going to say about the plot. I really enjoyed the story. Emma and her two surprising new companions are wonderful characters. The book has humorous moments as Emma learns to use magic. The mystery was good! I am now a fan of Ada Bell and this series. I immediately arranged to acquire the next two available books in the series and very much look forward to reading them. I received an ARC of this book. My opinion is given voluntarily.

What a fun light read! This was the perfect palate cleansing after a stressful week. I really enjoyed reading this. It only took a couple of days, and only because it was a busy couple of days. This would be a great book to read on a really boring day or weekend. Cute characters and funny writing. I’m looking forward to the second book! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
