    I enjoyed her writing style at the start but after about half the book it started to wear on me until I was rolling my eyes at the end. There’s nothing to think about afterwards, just a family going through life without the structure that good stories have.

    This was a gorgeously written novel about how the people who love us, and those we love can cause pain, heal, fulfill, blind, build up, tear down, change us for the better and worse. It illustrates how life is confounding and hard, but so worth it, and that we can only hope its lessons are learned before it is too late. I loved it.
