Sasha arrives in Haven’s Bay for a vacation at the family home of her friend, Thea. This will be the first Christmas without her daughter, Quinn, since she wanted to go on a ski trip with her aunt. He didn’t think a burglar would bring their dog to rob the place, but still wasn’t expecting anyone to be at his family home. Noah tells Sasha she can still stay because the house has more than enough room. Noah and Sasha have amazing chemistry and he tells her he’d like to date, when they return to Boston. This is book 2 in the Haven’s Bay series and it features Sasha and Noah. They’ve known each other since they were kids but haven’t seen each other in years. She was his younger sister’s best friend. Now, both grown, the sparks were flying! Their story isn’t a complicated one but when one person has a child, there are bound to be some bumps in the road. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more conflict in this story line but it was still an enjoyable read. I look forward to the next one.

Noah and Sasha’s story is a single mother/best friends bro romance story that has these two meeting at his family’s home. Her first vaca from her daughter since she was born. He needed to recharge from his job for FBI. The chemistry was sizzling and his protective instincts makes for a good read. I volunteered to read this book for my honest opinion

A funny chance encounter that leads to a well written forever love. Noah works in the FBI Financial Fraud Department in downtown Boston. He and his brother Dallas were working on a case and found information connecting to their father. They had to step away once they found out their father was connected to the investigation. Sasha got pregnant when she was fifteen and had her baby at sixteen. She left her hometown for Boston and was a single parent struggling to raise her daughter Quinn. Sasha’s best friend Thea told her to get away for the Christmas holiday since Quinn was spending time with her aunt. Thea and her brothers have the family home in Heaven’s Bay that Sasha stayed in. The book drew you into the characters storyline and kept you turning the pages to see if Sasha was going to get a second chance at love.

Noah works for the FBI and he has decided to take a week off and go spend time at his childhood home in Haven’s Bay. Noah is shocked that someone else is there. When Noah finds out that it is Sasha he is amazed at how beautiful she is. Sasha is friends with his sister Thea. Sasha had a crush on Noah when she was younger. Noah had a little crush on Sasha when he was younger but she was 4 years younger than him and Thea’s friend. Sasha hasn’t been on many dates since having Quinn so she is a little rusty in the romance department. Sasha and Noah end up having sex the whole week they are there. They both live in Boston so they decide to see where it will go. Will Quinn like Noah? Will Sasha develop feelings for Noah? Will Noah develop feelings for Sasha?
