    Way too many inferences to offer detail/backdrop on several characters to embellish on the stories.... when little is known it’s hard to defend an author who embellishes from parallel tracks to add “character” when no biblical or historical evidence directly supports his assertions

    I bought and read this book in paperback and really enjoyed and learned from it. The problem I have is that I have since moved and all my books are in storage. I found this book to be informative, insightful and an enjoyable read . I had always told the people I spoke with about Christ that He didn't choose the most educated ,wealthy or influential men of His time. This book reiterates my points and by a much more learned person than myself.
