This is the sixteenth volume in the complete proceedings of the Nuremberg trial of the German major war criminals before the International Military Tribunal sitting at Nuremberg, Germany. Taken from the original court transcript this volume covers the proceedings from 7th to 19th June, 1946 and represents an essential primary source for scholars and general readers alike. The transcripts are complete and contain the whole of the proceedings as taken from the original court documents. This volume concludes the trial of Alfred Jodl. The cases against ArthurSeyss-Inquart, Franz von Papen and Albert Speer are begun. Seyss-Inquart was the Federal Chancellor of Austria and Reichskommissar of the occupied Dutch territories. The case includes his testimony about Austrian Anschluss and the Jewish question. Von Papen was briefly the Chancellor of Germany in 1932, then Vice-Chancellor under Hitler in 1933-34. Alfred Speer was Hitler’s architect and the minister of Armaments and War Production.
