THE SEABOARD PARISH is a sequel to ANNALS OF A QUIET NEIGHBOURHOOD, written in the first person during the Victorian Era. The narrator describes the history of a year during part of which he took charge of a friend's parish while his brother n law Thomas Weir, who was the curate, took the entire charge of the town of Marshmallows.
