There is absolutely no other series of books I love the most. I really recommend this book to people who like action and adventure books. Take my opinion, I have read over 200 books and none of them were even close to being as good as Maximum Ride... Just in case you are wondering, it is a name, I thought it was just meaning that the book was a maximum ride, though I thought wrong, it was more than that. GET THIS SERIES! They are addicting and totally worth the money, trust me.

I have loved maximum ride for a while. But this book is just horrible. It's rushed and stupid. It's not worth a single cent.

Personally, I am very dissatisfied with the ending. It could have been much better. Their relationships were way too rushed. But I really think there should be another book, at least to give us more of an idea of what happens after the whole ordeal. Not only that, what happens to Dylan? He was probably heartbroken, I feel sort of bad for him in a way. He wasn't a bad person at all he at least deserved to be happy. Whether he was with Max or not. Either way, it still feels like there is residue.

Patterson is lucky to even get two stars out of me. In fact I would have given it only one but to be perfectly honest I loved every book up until the fifth or six. It's been really disappointing for me. I've been a Maximum Ride fan for a long time and this series was the one that got me into reading. Nevermore was wayyyy too fast, a lot of questions were left unanswered, it wasn't that well written, and I felt like the entire plot for this series was completely forgotten about. To me it almost seemed James Patterson was trying to rush the ending of Maximum Ride (which was originally supposed to be a 10 or 11 book series) so he could start his new one.
  • Not the best

The writing was rushed, basically the best part was the romance because the action was to rushed and I still have so many questions. What about Dylan, does he get over Max? Does he leave? What about Jeb? What about Iggy, don't they fix his eyesight, does he ever get to see his new girlfriend and how beautiful she is? What about bridgid, was she working with Mr. Chu? Does the flock get more powers? Does nudge get her wings cut off? What about Dr. Martinez, does Jeb change and marry her? What about Dr. Martinez's friend who helped during the whole global warming fiasco, didn't he seem to like Dr. Martinez? Does angel become flock leader eventually? JP, this is not your best work. You took time with the romance part but the action part was to rushed. I was very disappointed with the last book. Please write a sequel?
