    Please read. Its very necessary for someone who doesn't think they accomplished enough. To think one of the greatest players had so many demons. Enough said.

    The book has a distinct style to it and it takes a while to get used to. But as the chapters progress and you become familiar with Mr. West's personality, it becomes a very intimate and heartfelt tale of a complicated and extraordinary existence. I would recommend it.

    I have never written a review before, but am so disappointed with this book I feel compelled to write this. If I can describe the book in one word, it would be schizophrenic. There is just no story development, and he spends much of the book whining about being mistreated by his father.
