Character

In looking for a writer that respects the reader and his own works, I appreciate Mr K’s work in developing all the characters from the main of Cork to a priestly brother-in-law …. AND developing a believable plot. There is no skimping in the development of both characters and the use of mystery and nature, psychology and sociology in developing plot. I appreciate that the characters, like real people, have flaws and that there is true reasoning for the story line to develop as it does. I really love reading anything that Krueger puts out. Still my favorite is the first novel by this author I read, Ordinary Grace. If you’re looking for excellent writing, mystery, awesome character development and a believable plot, that doesn’t insult the reader, this is a fantastic author to read.

Didn’t read the last 200 pages. Read like a cut and paste of his other stories. Thinly written. Characters had little life to them.

Krueger does it again. Twist, turns and depth that you never see coming. Characters that are compellingly flawed, that draw you in so tight that you want to shout out to warn them(if I could figure out what is going to happen next). Can't wait for the next well told story!!!!
