Started out slow but a wonderful read! I read it on a recent trip to Europe and I was reading on the train instead of people watching. I could not put it down. Was a page turner for sure. This was my first book by the author but have read her other books she wrote under as Sophie Kinsella. Loved it!
Overall a good read!!!

This was the first book that I read by this author that wasn't written under "Sophie Kinsella". I first fell in love with her Shopaholic series, then I continued with ALL of the books written by Kinsella. Since I loved them all, (my favorites are "Twenties Girl" & "The Undomestic Goddess") I was REALLY excited to find that she had written more books under a different name. I was also happy to find that this book is written in the same style as her others. Although it started off too slow, it turned out to be a good book, and I definitely was not disappointed. I like that her books (including this one) leave you with an overall contented feeling. They aren't unrealistically happy or too predictable, they're just the perfect amount of both. And although her characters are English and I'm American, I find them very relatable. I'm looking forward to reading more books by Madeleine Wickham.
The ending was great!

Like many of her other books this one is slow to start off, but once you get half way through you can't wait to read what happens next!
