Loved this book . It’s not fair that he’s not able to remember his mom with fond memories . Plus she said he had to stay away from her or they would be found out . For a short story really good . Aria says he has to have a pack . He didn’t know what a pack was !

You can tell there is more to this story, but the overarching plot is not the only reason I am going right to the next book. Aria starts out being a hard@$$ then the attraction between she and Marco jacks up the sensual mating vibes. The romance is mega angsty, but the characters steal your heart.

I really enjoyed Marco and Aria’s intense, swoony, nail biting story. Marco is a well respected chef in Las Vegas. He’s also a wolf shifter who keeps a tight leash on his wolf and knows nothing about shifters or packs. Aria is a wolf shifter in Las Vegas for a wolf pack summit. She was recently replaced as her clan’s chief enforcer and she is having trouble with the change. Aria is drawn to Marco and just wants a quick sexual encounter but fate has other plans. They are fated mates but things are very complicated. Nevertheless, their exciting, dangerous roller coaster journey toward their HEA begins. This book has a little bit of everything you’d expect - sweet moments, fan your face steam, dangerous action, strong families, painful pasts, plot twists, uber protective men, imperfect characters, pack politics, mystery, and even a few chuckles. While short, the story was well written, the characters had depth, and the storyline was engaging.

I’m not impressed. If you can’t write a chapter without dropping the “F” bomb at least 10 times… I’m out!!
