I love the books in the Mystery AK series, however this one is quite different. Characters were mixed up creating confusion. Charlie was mentioned as being Catherine‘s non-biological father, when in fact that is Harrison, which in this book has been changed to Harris. “Charlie” Jenkins is Tara‘s father. Tor and Penny are mentioned as living above the bar, when it’s Tor and Dawn. In a few of the books, it’s mentioned that Naomi was attacked by wolves...plural. In this book it was mentioned that she was actually captured by them. When exactly did this happen?! She was attacked by one wolf in book 1, unless I’m missing something. SPOILERS... Would’ve loved this book had there been more details such as... Henrietta’s confrontation with her daughter & the tribe was left kinda unresolved. What happened to all of the females that were rescued? More time with Saul and Lorelei that didn’t involve mental pain and torture. It was hard to see them in a relationship when they didn’t spend quality time together. Perhaps a longer ending after the rescue would have been more beneficial. Overall I still love the series and intend to pick up any additional books pertaining to these characters.
