5By Agent$$$$This story….WOW! Indie, Leni’s best friend, has been hooking up with Archer for months. While Indie has fun with Archer, she’s more focused on moving to Silver Island and her new business endeavor. Indie is a successful business woman who developed her own skincare and makeup line. She is also a highly sought beautician and makeup artist. She does makeup for runway models, weddings, etc. Tired of life in NYC, Indie decides to pursue her dreams by opening up a boutique. She’s ready for a slower paced life and wants to get away from the pressures of city life and her unsupportive parents. Archer Steele is one of the top vintners in the world. At an early age, Archer would follow his grandpa around the vineyard to learn everything he could about making wine. It’s always been his passion. His family means the world to him and he would do anything to make their lives better, but doesn’t think he deserves the same. After losing his best friend Kayla, he vowed never to open himself up to love again. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and blames himself for everything he can’t control—like his sister’s bout with cancer. Although Indie gets under his skin and he develops feelings for her, he does everything he can to push her away…but she truly sees him and the man he is. This novel is full of goodness! Indie and Archer are a perfect match for each other. I LOVED it when Archer stood up for Indie and put her family in their place. Indie is selfless and lets Archer open up to her at his own pace—she listens and lets him figure out how to forgive himself. Indie truly SEES Archer and loves everything about him and his family. I like that she demonstrates her love through her support of him. I love how supportive Archer and his family is of Indie and her dreams. Their constant bickering is their love language and usually ends up in wild makeup escapades. This novel is my favorite in the series and overflows with feels. Highly recommend! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.The wine maker

Indi was a really sweet girl who came fro a family with too many expectations of her, but not her dreams. So she reached for the sky with her cosmetic company and Luckily grabbed Archer as well.#TeamArcher

5By Cheryl33610Archer Steele. His name alone is sexy. Sure, he’s short tempered and stuff flies out of his mouth before his brain engages. He’s a ladies man and not ready to settle down. But he’s also a fierce protector, a wonderful son and uncle, and looks darn good on a pair of jeans and dusty boots. What girl in her right mind is gonna pass all that up? Certainly not Indi Oliver. Sure, she’s been telling herself that it’s just hooking up, and she done now. She’s trying to open up her boutique on Silver Island and has no time for Archer and his aversion to relationships. But he’s just so easy to be with, even when they argue. Because the making up is so hot! And things are starting to heat up outside of the bedroom, as well. This is one of my very favorite couples in the Melissa Foster universe and absolutely the best of the Silver Harbor/Steelers at Silver Island crew. Both a little broken from things in their lives, they are fiery yet sweet, funny yet heartbreaking. I laughed and cried throughout their story, which defies being labeled with a romance trope. I like that, too, because it’s unexpected and exciting to not know where they are headed. All I know is, I loved it!Emotional!

This grumpy/feisty pairing has perfect chemistry and they truly bring out the best in each other! There are lots of spicy scenes, as is usual for Foster’s books. Silver Island is such a wonderful place, and I enjoyed all of the updates about the Steele’s family and friends, too. I also love to try to predict the hints Foster leaves for future books in the series! I definitely recommend this book if you love a heartfelt yet spicy contemporary romance set in a picture-perfect location, with lots of wonderful side characters and friends. Add the location of Silver Island for the background, supporting and non-supporting families of Archer Steele and Indi Oliver, friends and residents of the area, the two are an unbelievable, combustible loving couple. The “highs” and “lows” in their lives are a very emotion ride for the reader. This can be a stand alone book but I found it more enjoyable & intriguing since I read the series from the beginning. Once again, Melissa Foster doesn’t disappoint her readers! Archer and Indi are such an amazing couple!
