This book is a real thriller! You find yourself trying to guess the killers identify from the first page. Can’t wait to read the series.

This book will give me nightmares, I’m sure. But I couldn’t delete it. I had to take breaks from it. But I continued to read it. A triller in every sense of the word. PD

The setting and tone of the book is pretty good, but the book is not genre breaking by any chance. It seems like another addition to an already over saturated genre of cop thrillers. Don’t know why is was recommended with so many positive reviews, I was expecting something amazing; all I was left with was meh. I like the MC as she does second guess herself, while also following and trusting her claims, even if she ends up being wrong in the end. But is reads like a show and tell, with no real gripping theme, only time you are somewhat engrossed, is when an intense scene is playing.

The story is an interesting “origin story” that covers a rookie field agent’s background and first case. It is well written and plausible. The drama takes place near Monroe, Louisiana. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys crime novels.

Ngl, i love reading, i used to read a lot when i was a little younger, but i stopped a little cause books don’t really catch my eye like that anymore but when this one did, i was like it looks like it’s gonna be good, js started the book and i’m on chapter 6 and so far, im loving it and i already want to read the rest of the books by the author, 10/10 def recommend.

Excellent reading was very fascinated from beginning to end farewell written very good plot waiting to read the next chapter or should I say the next book number two thank you
