    The main character kept making one stupid decision after another. Also, she was supposedly visiting her best friend, but didn’t spend even one whole day with her friend.

    Nora Roberts is one of my favorites but this book wasn’t up to her usual quality. This one had way too much sex and not nearly enough plot. Sorry Nora.

    It would be helpful if the fact that this is an old book being republished was made known. The author's skill has grown enormously since this was written, and while I love her newer work, this is simply an elementary romance novel with no real content.

    Why did they think re-releasing this was a good idea? This is the worst Nora Robert’s book I’ve ever read. The characters are under developed, the romance is non-existent, and the plot is just.. blah. And don’t even get me started on the ‘falling for the angry man’. Yuck. I want my $7 back.

    Sadly, I didn’t believe the previous reviews that told me not to waste my money! I can’t believe this was written by NR. If this would have been my first NR read, I would have never purchased other books!

  • One of her early novels - don’t buy

    This is just a new release of one of her early novels. Obviously she was still learning how to tell a story. Yawn. It was a predictable bore.

    Nora has improved from here. This one is so dated with smoking, lack of consent, and relationship violence. Glad plot details have modernized over the years. Sorry that I bought this one.

    A must read you will not be able to put down. It will keep you on edge and guessing till the very end. I loved every word.
