“When You Kiss Me” is a Maine Sullivan story featuring Lola Sullivan, a beautiful, smart, and creative textile artist. Unconditional family love and love at first sight are common themes in many of Bella Andre’s books. It’s so wonderful to read about strong independent women who use their strength, intelligence, and creativity to find a career that is fulfilling and financially independent. The man who looks beyond the surface beauty to the internal beauty and truly puts Lola first will have her unconditional love and her heart. Duncan has a chance and has to make a decision. Working through his own family issues takes time. And a miss step may change the course of their relationship. Another fabulous Sullivan story! What an amazing family!

I received this book as an ARC, but I give my honesty opinion. Lola is an artist, nice and loves her family. She meets Duncan at one of her classes and it was Love At First Sight. But love doesn’t know Duncan’s past. Duncan says He is not good for her but his heart love her anyways. Find out Duncan’s past and if Lola will love him forever. A MUST READ: Bella Andra has a great writing skill to draw you in before you finish the first chapter. Enjoy the continuation of the Sullivan family story.

I am a Bella Andre fan but not a fan of this book. It felt rushed, juvenile and incredibly unrealistic. Falling in love the day they meet, then a few days later Lola turns on Duncan in an instant without hesitation. To patch this story together the author came up with a dozen completely improbable scenarios. Where I normally don’t want to put her books down I struggled to get through to the end with this one and did so only because I have enjoyed other books in the series so much. I don’t know what happened but please get yourself back on track for the next book!

I am always wanting more of the Sullivans. West Coast. East Coast. England. I don't care, just want Sullivans. When You Kiss Me gave me all three!!!!!! Trifecta!!!!!! Lola is one of the Maine Sullivans of Bar Harbor. She is a talented artist but is not talented in love. She is better off avoiding all men. A simple goal in her little town, but she teaches classes. Duncan is finally taking time for himself. He doesn't share what happened five years ago. He has worked hard to fix what happened and only has one more wrong to right. His assistant gave him a gift certificate for a class. He will use it just so he doesn't hurt her feelings. A look. A smile. They are both doomed. Love at first sight. Talk about a whirlwind romance!!!! It is beautiful until it isn't. Duncan really should have talked about his past. It might have saved his future. It might have saved their love. It will take calling in the big guns to save him and their relationship. Lola calls in the cousins to dig deep. Together with Duncan, they are able to save him and their love.

I loved this book, and how quickly Duncan and Lola fall for each other. It’s so sweet. But he’s held off telling her something, and I wasn’t prepared to feel so heartbroken. I cried so hard for them. Loved being so emotionally connected. Will Lola give him another chance? Had some happy tears in the ending, it’s very heartwarming. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

Lola and Duncan’s story was great. Their journey was so relatable. Their love was so strong that even though they were scared and listened to what others said they found their way back to each other. I loved how when one Sullivan needed help they all pulled together, including extended family, to do whatever was needed. Loved this book

I love reading about the Sullivans (I know that I’m not alone). No matter the location, they are always entertaining. I was looking forward to Lola’s story and who would capture her heart. Duncan was perfect for her. Even though a lot of couples meet and fall for each other pretty quickly, Lola and Duncan’s relationship developed very quickly, especially since they both had trust issues. But, if you can get past that, they were perfect for each other. And, as always, it was great to learn more about her family. This was an easy read and perfect for a beach or anytime read.

Lola Sullivan was happy the way her life was going. Working to expand her textile business and teaching art classes. When she meets Duncan the sparks flew. Duncan is trying to makes amends for his brother’s wrong dealing but the guilt is eating at him. Lola is way to good for him. True to form the Sullivan family comes together to clear Duncan! Family and love and the Sullivans never disappoint!!
