From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts, Storm Warning is the thrilling novel of one woman’s loving heart aroused by terrifying suspicion.

Back in rural Virginia to take over her aunt’s mountain inn, Autumn Gallegher is surprised to find the resort so full of guests—and shocked to discover Lucas McLean among them. A writer of extraordinary depth and talent, Lucas’s way with words won Autumn’s love in a passionate affair that he ended without warning. Three years later, she’s still drawn to his dark intensity and desires him more than ever. But when a guest’s dead body is discovered, Lucas becomes the police’s prime suspect. And while Autumn still loves Lucas, she also has evidence that could convict him of murder…

Terrible. Not your typical Nora Roberts book. I wasted my time and money.

I liked this story and a second chance for love. It reminded me of the kind of screenplay of an old noir movie from the late 1940’s that would have starred Bogart and Bacall. The secondary characters added enough distraction as the possible murderers and I loved Aunt Tabby. Not the best Nora Robert’s book, but still a good read.

I’ve been a fan of Nora’s for years. Read everything she’s written more than once. I find it impossible to believe the same person who wrote books like The Search, Witness and River’s End wrote this disaster. It’s clearly dated but typically it’s easy to look past that with the story line. This was sheer, ridiculous nonsense. Really don’t waste your time on this one, it should be stricken from her catalogue.
