Description

From the moment Millie walked into his restaurant looking for a job, Lucas wanted her. But being with her would cause problems. He was her boss and it was against the rules … his rules. Not to mention, as a single father, he couldn't just let any woman near his son.

But Millie was different. He knew she was special from the moment he looked at her.

No matter what he planned, Lucas knew he had to have her and he was willing to do whatever it took to claim her as his.

Wanting her boss came with plenty of complications, mainly that Millie knew there was no reason for a man like Lucas to want someone like her.

Gorgeous, intelligent and successful, he wouldn't be interested in a Plain Jane girl like her.

But when he showed interest, Millie didn't try to fight the chemistry they had. As Valentine's Day approached and the restaurant was in full swing with everyone wanting to express their love, Lucas and Millie's relationship bloomed.

But what would happen if Lucas wanted to take it to the next level?

Could Millie throw caution to the wind and give herself fully to Lucas in the name of love?

I really enjoyed Millie and Lucas's story! It's a very fast paced story and romance. Lucas owns a restaurant; he is also a self trained chef to some degree. Millie is a waitress at his restaurant but also currently enrolled in cooking school. They have been attracted to each other since she started but never acted on it. However, things change and things progress very fast. This is a sweet story with a lot of steam plus a cute little boy named Timothy. I really enjoyed this story it was so easy to read with some great characters.

Lucas owns Brick and Stone, a fancy restaurant that Millie Stein works as a waitress at. Millie has a jones for her boss, Lucas. Lucas is older, used to really get around, but lately has eased up on the hook ups. He’s got a son and he’s got a jones for his employee, Millie. Lucas offers to tutor her as she continues to go to culinary school while she’s waitressing at his restaurant. This Valentine’s Day, he’s going to make her his and introduces her to his son Timothy. Recommend for sweet and heat. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
