Another good Stone/Woods story. A little far fetched at parts, but entertaining reading.
Choppy?

Reads as if took drafts of two separate books, each with distinct plot lines, stapled them together, and declared it one book. Did someone else have a hand in writing it?

Seriously, a rich liberal lawyer that doubles as a spy. Watches morning Joe, seriously I thought this was a work of fiction! Good writing but pretty silly in a number of segments. Keep trying you will get better.
This is not well written

Reading this book is like flipping through some PowerPoint slides full of bullet points. The plot was moderately interesting, but the totally dry writing style was a huge turn-off.
Best of the resent Stone Barrington books.

Timely and fast passed. Stone is slowing down and only sleeps with two Women. One new. He doesn’t acquire anything but replaces two items through insurance. I’d like to see Stone in New Orleans next. That would give Stuart Woods another place to live and do research.
Disappointed

The beginning of this book about hurricane Irma had no meaning for this book. It was a waste of space. I was sorely disappointed with this book. Usually I read Stuart Woods books in one sitting as they keep me anxious to find out what happens next. This book just dragged on. Stuart Woods, you are better than this!!

Very sophomoric. Tom Clancyish meets Pee Wee Herman. I’ve read all of Wood’s books and I have been very disappointed with the Barrington novels, of late.
Great Read!

Love the Stone Barrington series! My only negative comment is that I wish he would write them more quickly!

The author has offered his reader a thriller, romance, spy's, international intrigue, and natural disaster.
