Second changes — childhood friends to lovers

I love second chances stories and set on a beach has me reading this book in one sitting. This is a new writer for me and will definitely be reading the other stories. Small beach community reuniting childhood friends _ Ben and London- who discover their childhood crush was the impetus for their adult story. They heal each other by turning painful loss to happy memories through the power of home and family. Worth reading.

A short book with well developed characters and plot full of action held me enthralled from start to finish. I would recommend it for all mature readers. It left me wanting more stories of this group!

Twenty years later.
At twelve, Ben had a crush on London.
Now, twenty years later, he’s fixing up the white elephant her grandmother left her.
Second chances, two brothers, all on Calusa Key.
Purchased.

This is a sweet story about first love and getting that second chance. Ben and London worked as a couple for me. I liked how he was going to stop at nothing to get the woman he loved. I did end but I am hoping that the next book or books will answer those questions. This was well written and the story moved along really well. I loved the setting of Florida. This was a good book. It kept me entertained.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A love that withstood their past and the reason behind their losing each other years ago. It was a very enjoyable story with plenty of steam and emotion.
Nice story no substance

I know this is a series, but we didn’t get closure on a few things some of them I think will be addressed in the next books, but other are specifically about this couple and it was left unfinished. Although it’s a short book it took me a while to get through it because the writing was very slow.
A plot with conflict & resolution would have gone far

This was a fine book until it became apparent there was zero story arc. What is happening at the beginning is how it ends and there are zero stakes for the characters. Plus, what is up with introducing storylines that just vanish with no resolution? I was up for a fun, light read, but the total disregard for actual storytelling was maddening in the end.
Delightful read

I liked the story and the characters, they had really good back stories together. This book had several typos and also seemed to abruptly end without tying up the loose ends like the anonymous letters.
