Female lead gets a case, almost gets kicked off the case or actually does by a superior for some heroic act, female lead ignores superior, almost finds the killer, has the wrong guy, actually finds the killer, performs more heroics, superior is less mad. The End. Don’t forget the drama in the personal life. I like the characters but mix up the plot order at least a little.Great Book
