It’s not good writing. Very disorganized. I think the publisher must have hired some hacks to post reviews here. There’s no way this is almost 5 stars. I only gave it 2 because of the high average rating. My honest rating would be zero.

The book is so well written I could not put it down will read over and over great storyline

Very interesting story and a quick read.

One of the best books I have read in the last few years. I wish I had discovered it years ago.

I learned a lot from this book! I had no idea how pervasive the mob was. I so admire Bobby Kennedy’s fearlessly taking them on, and regrettably probably bringing on the assassination of the president. Interesting to have an idea of the mob’s values and protocol. So we have an inkling of what happened to Jimmy Hoffa!

I have read this book twice now. I read it for the first time a few years back and gifted it to multiple "friends of mine." I knew his book was special and go figure, earlier this year I find out that Martin Scorsese himself is doing a movie based on the book (with Deniro, Pesci and Pacino). It's a great read for anyone. The story is non-fiction and is the epitome of the cliche "you can't make this stuff up." While it's a great read for everyone, it's a must read for organized crime enthusiasts. Knowing a lot of the players already makes for an even more fascinating read. Do yourself a favor and get this book.
