Oh my god, AMAZING! So far my favorite book of 2025! The plot twists and clues were fantastic! All the tragedies in the end made me gasp because it all happened so quick! Remarkable writing!

I thought it was good but a little conflicting and convoluted but I can tell it’s supposed to be confusing so it’s fine. I really appreciated that Stephanie Garber didn’t just hop on the train of having gay people in her book. It was nice to finally have a newer book that doesn’t have that in it. Now a days it feels like some authors really put it before the plot if they have the LGBTQ in it. So yeah I would recommend it to most people.

I loved this book, but it was missing lots of pages and I got confused. I bought a physical copy of it instead

I enjoyed this book but I do think there were better ways of transitioning the next chapter and I also think that we could get better explanation to what type of magic the story is referring to.

I could not put this book down. It is all i can think about and talk about. The never ending plot twists. The confusion until the very end. With every chapter everything i thought i could predict turned out to be wrong….it was SO UNPREDICTABLE.

I loved this book ten out of ten i recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy and mind games because this book is a trip. I genuinely could not put this down and ended up reading it in 4 days. The plot of this book is gripping you never know what surprises are coming or what lie will be uncovered. It’s so interesting to see the fearful and logical Scarlet interact with the scoundrel Julian and all the questions that come with working with him like why dose he know so much about the game. Seeing Scarlet interact with the world of Legend and his Players and the struggle of what real and what’s not while trying to find her sister. Theres this never ending mystery of what’s real and what’s not that even I the reader had a hard time figuring out if some of the crazier things were actually happening or not. I constantly went back and forth on if Julian was Legend or not I even thought he was Legends kid for a while, only to find out that I was right about them being related just not in the way I thought he was. And the death scenes were gripping and I even teared up a bit. And the biggest of the twists at the end was amazing finding out that it was all planes even if it wasn’t all fake. I love the Legend character one of my favorite part is watching him and Scarlet interact especially the balcony bit. I’m already started the second book and it looks to be just as promising as the first. This is one of my top 5 books now and will be recommending it to all of my book friends.
yes i love it so much

The plot was great, but I felt like the jumping between scenes gave me whiplash. Tella’s character didn’t resonate with me and I don’t understand how the ending **spoilers ahead** is Scarlett loving and getting ready with her sister and only feeling humiliated and embarrassed for 2 sentences. Like what just happened. This book had so much potential
Mysterious and Intriguing

I was kept on my toes the entire time! I loved every second of it! The story was so unique and I like how it was unpredictable! Can’t wait to read the next book Legendary I’m so relieved I don’t need to wait to read the trilogy I would’ve been so annoyed bc of the HUGE CLIFFHANGER in Book One lol I highly recommend everyone reading this book!
