  • A different romance

A very different twist from so many of the romance stories. Felt sorry for Liv at first but then proud of her for standing on her own. Twain was just a good guy. Was irritated with him at first for not being capable of loving Liv, but obviously he too grows up. Wish the story had continued a bit more.

This book got to me. Emotionally. It is so rich and satisfying. Fiction—but based in deep, raw emotion. You don’t have to have read any of the other Worth books to enjoy Liv and Twain’s story, but if you have you’ll appreciate being reintroduced to Sawyer and Deni and their story - and my favorite hero, Petey too. Twain is Sawyer’s heroic brother, and boy does he continue to live up to those high standards in this book. He’s a great guy. Likes Liv a lot, does the right thing by her, and never complains. Happy Ever After, right? Not so fast. From their first high school encounter, Liv is the kind of girl that keeps wondering “When am I going to lose Twain Beck?” And thus the tangled web begins to weave. A really fabulous, sexy, page turner you don’t want to miss. Highly recommended.
