Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (1863-1944) was a British writer and although he left a huge legacy of novels published under the pen-name 'Q', he is mostly known as the editor of 'The Oxford Book of English Verse', a collection book of English poetry.

'The Magic Shadow' is a short story by Arthur Quiller-Couch that tells us about a baby who was born with a magic shadow. When the boy reaches the age of five he finds a strange thing: his shadow is not really his — it is a girl shadow! What will happen to the poor boy? Read this brilliant story and you will know!
