“The Adventures of Haroun-al-Raschide, Caliph of Bagdad” is a short but wonderful story by Andrew Lang about Caliph of Bagdad who was anxious to observe something that could possible give him a few hours of amusement. With his best and tried friend named Giafar who was a grand-vizir they went on a journey disguised as foreign merchants. They were very pleased to watch at their own land having no idea that life is much more interesting beyond the walls of the castle.
